Day 1 : Chennai
Arrive Chennai Airport / railway Station.& proceed to Hotel . This metropolis is often called the cultural capital of India for its deep-rooted traditions and long heritage. It is city that encourages all forms of development, both modern technology and the traditional arts and crafts, and it embraces a series of paradoxes. Surrounding villages like Triplicane, Purasawalkam, Egmore and Chetput slowly merged with the new developments, to form Chennapatnam, as it was known.   with the Bay of Bengal on the east, the city is the gateway to the rest of South India. Day 02: Chennai

This morning after breakfast proceed to city tour, Visiting The Tiger Cave is a rock-cut Hindu temple complex located in the hamlet of Saluvankuppam near Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu, India. It gets its name from the carvings of tiger heads on the mouth of a cave, which forms a part of the complex. Marina Beach- This expansive beach is Chennai's most famous tourist attraction, though the undercurrent is too strong for all but the strongest swimmer. Saint Thomas Cathedral- Probably the most magnificent and prominent reminder of Chennai's colonial lineage, the San Thome Church bears a colossal amount of history since A.D. 52, the year when St. Thomas traveled to India, though the Roman Catholic basilica was built in the 16th century by the Portuguese. Kapaleeshwar Temple -

This ancient shrine to Shiva is centrally located and among the area’s most popular landmark. Fort Museum at Fort St George- A great place to see a superb collection of items of the British East India Company. See rare coins, flags, mementos, photographs, artifacts etc. Worth a visit, for old time’s sake. Later return back to the hotel . Overnight stay at Chennai 


Day 03: Chennai-Mahabalipuram ( 60 kms / 02 hrs )

This morning after breakfast proceed to Mahabalipuram (55 kms) Arrive and transfer in hotel.This beautiful & histoiric town is located in Tamil nadu . It is famous for its artistic & architectural excellence , sandy beaches & casuarinas trees . The city is name after King Mahabali .There are total 11 Excavated temples called the mandapas out of which the most famous one is called Ratha .

After Lunch proceed to Pancha Rathas (Five Chariots), each of these is carved from one single large piece of stone. Varaha Cave Temple, the Pallava doorkeepers in front of mandapa are two pillars and two semi-columns. Arjuna’s Penance, measuring 96 feet long it’s a giant open air relief carved of a monolithic rock. Krishna’s Butterball is a gaint natural rock perched on a hillside.Return back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Mahabalipuram.

Day 04: Mahabalipuram- kanchipuram excursion( 70 kms / one way )

After Early breakfast, proceed to Kanchipuram (70 kms) Visit temples Kanchi kamakshi temple – adobe of Kamakshi, Ekambaranatha Temple. Vaikunta Perumal temple has beautiful pillared corridors around the sanctum. Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Evening at leisure to enjoy the wonderful beaches of Mahabalipuram. Overnight stay in Mahabalipuram.

Day 05: Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry ( 100 kms . 2.5 hrs)

After breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to Pondicherry, Recently renamed as Puducherry is a town tucked away on the eastern sea board of India . Among its diverse attractions are a coastline of 32 kms ,palm fringed beaches , backwaters , Fishing villages , beach resorts , the sri Aurobindo Ashram, The international city of Auroville , The French Boulevard town with its french heritage and so on . Some great food , some fine wine and a great adventure awaits you here

Arrive and transfer to hotel, later visit Aurobindo Ashram, Matrimandir, Auroville, old light house, on the sea front are several land mark namely the statue of Joan of Arc blazing, and Mahatma Gandhi tall statue overnight stay in Pondicherry.

Day 06: Pondicherry – Tanjavur ( 165 kms /3.5 hrs)

After breakfast proceeds to Tanjavur , the rice bowl of Tamil Nadu . The big temples and other famous temples in the district are know all over the world  and are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the "Great Living Chola Temples"It gained prominence during the period of Chola Kings who made it as their capital . The cultural , the architectural & the schorly persuits of these rulers are reflected in the great monuments like Grand Anaicut , Big Temple etc

Arrive and check in hotel, later proceed to Brahadeeswara temple, vijayanagara fort, a Bell Tower and the Saraswati Mahal Library .Overnight stay in Tanjore.

Day 07: Tanjavur – Trichy ( 60 kms / 1.5 hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Trichy, Situated in Tiruchirappalli district, on the banks of the River Kaveri is Tiruchirappalli, a city known for its educational institutions, industries, and temples. It is shortly called as Trichy and has its name for tourist attraction. The city is a thriving commercial centre in Tamil Nadu and is famous for artificial diamonds, cigars, handloom cloth, glass bangles and wooden and clay toys.The Landmark Of The City is most famous landmark of Tiruchirappalli is the Rock Fort Temple, a spectacular monument perched on a massive rocky out crop which rises abruptly from the plain to tower over the old city.

Arrive and transfer to hotel, later visit to Rock fort, Srirangam, Janbukeswara Temple, St Lourdu’s Church, Hazrath Nathervali, Mukkombu, Vayalore, . Return back to the hotel overnight stay in Trichy.

Day 08: Trichy-Madurai ( 135 kms / 2.5 hrs)

After breakfast check out & proceed to Madurai – One of the South India Greatest Temple town. Madurai is Synomymous with the celebrated Meenakshi temple . Situated on the banks of River Vaigai , Madurai has a rich heritage passed on from the great Era more than 2500 years old . It was the capital city of great Pandya kings . The city is famous for Jasmine Flowers

Arrive to Madurai and transfer to hotel. Later visit  Thirumalai Nayak Palace, Gandhi Museum, Mariamman Teppakulam, Thirupparamkunram, overnight stay in hotel.

Day 09 : Madurai

After breakfast proceed to Vist the famous Meenakshi temple. If Tamil Nadu is the seat of South Indian temple architecture, the Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple is its crowning glory. The temple structure with its concentric squares and high walled enclosures is a lesson for students of architecture. The temple is square shaped and a series of concentric streets with names from Tamil months surround the structure. The entire temple occupies around 45 acres, with each side having an entrance of its own. Madurai Meenakshi temple’s history is as old as the history of the city itself. Evening free at leisure .Overnight stay in Madurai.

Day 10: Madurai–Rameshwaram( 175 kms / 04 hrs)

After breakfast proceeds to Rameshwaram . Rameshwaram Temple is situated in the island of Rameswaram, off the Sethu coast of Tamil Nadu and is reached via the Pamban Bridge across the sea. The huge temple is known for its long ornate corridors, towers and 36 theerthams.Rameshwaram Jyotirlinga represents the southernmost of the 12 Jyotirlingams of India and has been a time honored pilgrimage center held on par with Banaras. Rameshwaram Temple Jyotirlinga is associated closely with the Ramayana and Rama′s victorious return from Sri Lanka.Arrive and transfer to hotel, later visit to Ramanatha Swami Temple, Agnitriham Temple, Ramjharoka Temple, & Dhanushkodi. Overnight stay in Rameshwaram.

Day 11: Rameshwaram–Mumbai

After breakfast  check out from the hotel & proceed to Madurai airport  / railway station to board flight / train to home destination
