Day - 01: Bagdogra (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) to Gangtok

Day - 02 (Gangtok Local Sightseeing)

After breakfast visit Hanuman Tok, a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, is situated at an altitude of 7200 feet at a distance of about nine kilometres uphill from Gangtok on a blissfully calm and quiet hilltop. The location is completely free from the pollution of city life. Namgyal Research Institute of Tibetology  A most prestigious research institute of its kind in the world, NIT is a treasure of vast collection of rare Lepcha, Tibetan and Sanskrit manuscripts, statues and rare Thankas (colourful tapestries used in Buddhist liturgy Tashi View Point to experience some of the most breath taking and awe inspiring views of the Himalayas . Saramsa Garden  which serves the purpose of the gangtok tourism department to promote floriculture. It is a great picnic and recreation spot and can be enjoyed with family and friends. It is situated 14 kilometers from gangtok on the Pakyong Road., Hanuman Tok Located on the upper reaches of Gangtok, is a temple complex dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the mighty Monkey god. This temple was built as the site is considered as the spot Lord hanuman rested while carrying the mountain with the “Sanjeevani” herb.  Flower Exhibition along with Ridge Park Etc . Day – 03 : Gangtok to Lachung

After breakfast pickup from your hotel at Gangtok and Transfer to Lachung (117Kms/6Hrs), The picturesque mountain village of Lachung, at a height of 8610 ft, embraced by snow capped mountain peaks, breathtaking waterfalls, sparkling streams and apple orchards is the perfect holiday destination. Sprawled across the banks of the Lachung Chu [river] which slices the village in two, Lachung is famous for its apples, peaches and apricots. Arrive & check in at the hotel . Day – 04 :  Lachung To Yumthang valley excursion

Early Morning drive to Yumthang-valley (24 KM. & 11,800 FT) (known as Valley of Flowers), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the Yaks & winter playgrounds of Yetis. On the way back visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties Yumthang Valley: is also known by the name of “Valley of Flowers”. This bottomless vale has remarkable variety of flowers to boast of. Once again to its credit, Yumthang also embraces the world renowned Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary in its region. A tributary of the Teesta flows through the valley and making it all the more mesmerizing in its appearance. To visit this vale, spring season is the perfect time when flowers blossoms at their best. During summers, this valley acts as a pasture land for the yaks.

Besides its astonishing flora, Yumthang also offers an eye-catching vista of peaks along with Pauhunri and Shundu Tsenpa. Yumthang is also famous for Hot Springs, but actually these springs fall in Yumesamdong region.. During winters, the whole valley gets enveloped in a thick layer of snow. To put succinctly, Yumthang Valley is an amazing treat where you would become the element of the ceaseless Picture. Return back to Lachung  late afternoon till Lunch . Evening free  at leisure . Day – 05 :  Lachung to Gangtok

After Breakfast depart to Gangtok . Arrive and check in at the hotel . Evening free for Relaxation Or shopping or Explore this beautiful place at your own . Overnight at Gangtok

Day - 06 (Gangtok to Darjeeling) 

Morning after breakfast transfer to Darjeeling (120kms/4hrs). Darjeeling , the queen of all hill stations and also the 'Dream-land of the East', famous for its natural beauty, clean fresh air, year round pleasent weather and above all, tea estates and the famous Darjeeling Tea...Darjeeling gets its name from Dorje (Thunderbolt) and Ling (Place). One of the most popular hillstations of India, The hill station was popularised from the times of British rule. Every year at the start of summer, the Viceroys of India would move to Darjeeling.

Covering an area of 1,200 sq. miles and surrounded by the Himalayan peaks, its a fascinating place rich in natural beauty. Some of the most beautiful tea estates are here. The Kanchenjunga peak can be seen from the town.Arrive and check in at Hotel . Evening free at leisure Overnight at Hotel.

Day - 07 (Darjeeling Best points Sightseeing) 

Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak), Later visit the Natural History Museum which contains  a comprehensive collection of the fauna of the region. The specimens of all birds' species, reptiles and animals found here are displayed. The butterfly and beetle section merits a special mention.Himalayan Mountaineering Institute  which is one of the most visited places in Darjeeling. It commands a magnificent view of Kanchenjunga.The Lebong Race Track which is situated  8 Km from Darjeeling, this race course is the highest and smallest track in the world. Tiger Hill  situated 11 km from the Darjeeling and at an elevation of 2,590 meters, lies the famous Tiger Hill. The view of sunrise from the top of hill is an unforgottable scene. It also provides a fine view of the mighty Everest and Kanchenjunga peaks.

Gymkhana Club which offers  house offers various game facilities such as tennis, table tennis, billiards, squash and badminton.Tibetan Refuge Centre  the place where a large number of Tibetan migrated here in the year 1959 due to the annexation of Tibet by China. Its craft workshops produce pure Ladakhi wool items, carpets and interesting woodcarving products & Zoological Park ,More correctly known as Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park. It was established with an aim to conserve and preserve the varied Himalayan fauna. The zoo houses some rare species including the Siberian tigers, red panda and Tibetan wolf, Himalayan black bears and yaks. Overnight stay at hotel

DAY 1 : ARRIVAL AT BHUBANESWAR

Arrive at Bhubaneswar / railway station and later transfer to hotel. Bhubaneshwar is the capital of Orissa state. Bhubaneswar is often referred to as a Temple City of India. Together with Puri and Konark and, Bhubaneswar forms the ‘Swarna Tribhuja’ (the ‘Golden Triangle’). Later half day sightseeing of Tribal Museum ( closed on Monday) – Tribal Museum, at the back of the famed Jagannath temple at Koraput. You can learn about life styles of the tribes and their culture,Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves- The twin hills of Kumargiri and Kumarigiri known as Khandagiri and Udaygiri contain varieties of rock-cut caves, built mainly for the jain monks around 1st 2nd century B.C. DAY 2 : BHUBANESWAR – KONARK – PURI

Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel drive to Puri enroute visit Dhauli the peace pagoda – Surrounded by paddy fields, the Dhauli hill brings back memories of the historic ‘Kalinga war’ which was fought around here. It is here that Ashoka, the terrible, was transformed into Ashoka, the compassionate and championed the cause of Buddhism, Pipli the applique village – Applique work forms a major part of the handicrafts of Orissa. The applique work is a piece of art that is done by cutting beautiful pattern on a piece of cloth, which are then stitched beautifully on another piece of cloth. &Konark Sun temple – Konark is a small town in Puri district on the Bay of Bengal, sixty-five kilometers from Bhubaneswar. It is the site of the 13th-century Sun Temple . The poetRabindranath Tagore wrote of Konark: “Here the language of stone surpasses the language of man.” Konark literally means “Essence of the Corners”.Then proceed to Puri. Puri is a part of theChar Dham pilgrimages that a Hindu has to visit in one’s lifetime.Rest time relax on the beach. Overnight at Puri.

 

DAY 3 : PURI – CHILIKA – PURI

Morning after breakfast visit to Jagannath temple (non hindus are not allowed) – Shri Shri Jagannath Mahaprabhu lord of the Universe is the supreme solace and saviour of countless devotees around the world, since time immemorial, His monumental and magnificent Shrine at Shri Purusottam-Kshetra (Puri) one of the four major Dhamas of India has been a most sacred centre of pilgrimage.Then drive to Chilika lake  – Chilika is recognized as one of the most important wetlands in the world because it is home to a phenomenal variety of birds. Chilika Lake offers visitors a spectacular display of its colorful avian charms in a thousand different hues presented by over 160 species in the peak season between November and February. Then take the boat cruise to visit the Irrawaddy Dolphins. Enroute visit Raghurajpur craft village - Famous for its Patachitras, a small village has been the residence of Oriya artisans who have mastered the skill of inscribing absolute poetry on pieces of treated cloth, dried palm leaf or paper.. Return back to Puri. Overnight at Puri.

 

DAY 04 : PURI – BHUBANESWAR

After breakfast check out from the hotel & drive back to Bhubaneswar and visit to temples including Rajarani – Rajarani temple is one of the most renowned temples in Bhubaneswar. It is made from the wonderful red and gold sandstone, which is locally known as Rajarani and this is what gives the temple its name of ‘Raja Rani’, Parsurameswar – Another popular temple of Lord Shiva, the Parasurameswar Temple is one of the ancient temples of Bhubaneswar, built in 650 A.D. This is the only temple which has one thousand lingas within the premise. Mukteshwar – Mukteshwar temple, one of the most prominent temples of Bhubaneswar, has been constructed in the style that is quite similar to the one used in the Kalinga School of Temple Architecture & Lingaraj - Lingaraj temple is one of the most popular temples of Orissa. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, also known as ‘Lingaraj’. It is adorned with beautiful sculptures, which have been carved on the spire. Then visit to Nandankanan Zoo ( closed on Monday ) – The Nandankanan Zoo is not just a regular zoo but a sanctuary and a botanical garden all rolled into one. It is situated on the shore of the Kanjja Lake. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.

 

DAY 5 : DEPARTURE FROM BHUBANESWAR

Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel &  transfer from hotel to airport / railway station for onwards journey.

Day - 03: Gangtok to Pelling

Morning transfer to Pelling (120 kms / 3hrs). the pleasant little town of Pelling is famous for magnificent views of the snow-capped Kanchenjunga range, the third highest peak in the world. The Placid town pulls most of the visitors for its representative status in history, nature and culture of the state of Sikkim.Sittuated at an altitude of 6,800 ft, Pelling offers good view of the entire Kanchenjunga mountain range including Koktang, Kumbhakaran (Jannu), Rathong, Kabru, Kabru Dome, Kanchenjunga, Pandim, Siniolchu and others. Day - 04 : Pelling Sightseeing

After breakfast start for full day sightseeing in and around Pelling. In the fast half covering Rimbi Waterfalls which are approximately 12 km away from Pelling and further about 5 km from the Darap Village. They are situated along the banks of Rimbi River.   These waterfalls lead into the Rimbi River,   famous for activities like fishing. Sacred Kechodpalri Lake located in the north-west direction of Pelling town. This lake is known by many names like the Wishing Lake, Kha-Chot-Palri and Sho Dzo Sho, which means Oh Lady, Sit Here. Considered holy by Buddhists as well as Hindus, and Kanchendzonga Falls Situated at a distance of 25 km from Pelling, the Kanchenjunga Falls is a perennial waterfall and takes about an hour to reach. There are small steps which lead to the base of the water fall.  After lunch followed by the second half of the days sightseeing covering Pemayangtse Monastery (the 2nd oldest monastery of Sikkim) Pemayangtse Monastery is a Buddhist monastery,  situated at an elevation of 6840 feet. Known as one of the oldest monasteries of Sikkim, it was built by Lama Lhatsun Chempo in the 17th century., & Sunset Point. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at pelling
