Day 1 : Aurangabad

Day 02: - Ajanta (105 kms - 1 ½ hours)

After breakfast excursion to the famous Ajanta caves. Ajanta is one of the few historical and architectural marvels of India. Recognized as the World Heritage Site today, it was discovered during the 19th century by a group of British officers who were on a tiger hunt. The Ajanta group of caves, located deep within the Sahyadri hills above the Waghora, depicts the story of Buddhism that prevailed here during 200 BC to 650 AD. Ajanta's wondrous cave temples are cut into the rocky sides of a dramatic crescent-shaped gorge, at the head of which is a waterfall that drops over the mountain rim in a series of seven steps to a pool far belowdeep inside the mountain are the Buddhist chaitya – vihara prayer and monastery caves. They cover a span of 800 years where under the royal patronage of ruling dynasties, professional artists helped Buddhist monks to create magnificent murals narrating the story of Buddha in his cycle of incarnations, while simultaneously creating a painted record of the panorama of life in ancient India. Etched and painted in mineral dyes, the paintings have a languorous stylized beauty and magical eloquence After visiting Ajanta Caves drive back to Aurangabad. Return to Aurangabad for overnight

 

Day 03: Aurangabad - Ellora (30 kms - ½ hours )

Morning after breakfast visit to Grishneshwara. It is an ancient pilgrimage site revered as the abode of one of the 12 Jyotirlinga of Shiva. It is located at a distance of 11 km from Daulatabad near Aurangabad in Maharashtra. Daulatabad was once known as Devagiri. After visit drive a sight seeing tour of Ellora, one of the highly visited World heritage sites of India. It houses 34 monasteries and temples with some exclusive uninterrupted sequence of monuments that date back from 600 to 1000 AD. The temples of Ellora are dedicated to Brahmanism, Jainism, and Buddhism. A particular interest are the architectural marvel of the monolithic Kailasa Temple, the Buddhist Vishvakarma Chaitya and Vihara, the famous Jain cave number 32 Famous for a magnificent Yakshi statue and ceiling paintings. It also has some of the excellent stonework depicting the legends related to Lord Shiva. After visit return to the Aurangabad for overnight stay. 
Note: The Ajanta Caves are closed to public on all Monday and Ellora caves on Tuesday

Day 01 : Alibagh Arrival 

Arrive at Alibagh by road / Ferry and check in at the hotel of your preference . Day free at Leisure / relaxation .Evening  visit the famous Kihim Beach  situated 12 km from Alibaug and 120 km from Mumbai. The beach lies to the north of the city and is surrounded by various trees with colourful butterflies, coconut trees and wild flowers.. Overnight stay at Alibagh 

 

Day 02 : Alibagh 
After breakfast day free for beach activities . Alibaug Beach is one of the prominent beaches of Alibaug town in the Konkan region of Maharashtra. Among all the beaches, Alibaug Beach has the blackest sand deposits. There is a mazhar of Ali Shah Bawa in the middle of the town and the beach has been named after him. Enjoy various beach activities and water sport ( subject to weather conditions and operational ) . Evening free at leisure . Overnight at Alibagh 

 

Day 03 : Alibagh 

After breakfast proceed to visit the famous Janzira Murud Fort which  is a sea fort that is situated at a distance of 55.2 km from Alibaug. The fort is 40 ft high and was built in 15th century AD under the rule of Emperor Malik Amber, who was the ruler of Ahmednagar.It is believed that the fort for over 350 years was not conquered by any enemy. A fisherman of Murud built this fort in order to protect the place from the pirates of the sea. The fort had wooden structure initially, which was destroyed at the orders of Buran Khan, who was the minister of Nizamshah.  The fort consists of several towers and turrets, which were used for keeping guns. At the main entrance of the fort, a beautiful stone carving, depicting a tiger trapped by six elephants, is present.

Day 1:

Start early morning & head straight to Khopoli via Panvel on old Mumbai Pune highway. There are two temples near Khopoli Viz Pali & Mahad . Visit Pali first which is very close to Khopoli.. Ganpati of Pali is called Ballaleshwar.

Visit this temple & then head start for mahad.. Being close to Khopoli these two temples are crowded on weekends. So if you are travelling on weekend, our advice would be start as early as possible to cover these two temples & don't forget to enjoy malai peda & malai mava at Pali & variety of papads & pickles.. Ganpati of mahad is called Varadvinayak.

After breakfast at Mahad proceed further towards Pune. Join express highway at Khopoli & reach Pune. After reaching Pune head straight to Solapur Highway. You can visit Dagdu sheth Halwai ganpati in Pune. Lunch in Pune .

OPTION : If you can travel some extra miles, you can visit Dehu which is near Pune, but if you want to visit Dehu, leave express way at Pimpari - chinchwad, visit Dehu & then go to Pune city & then to Solapur road.

On Solapur highway there are total 3 temples. First on the way is Theur. After joining Solapur highway you will reach Theur within an hour.. Don't miss Sugercane juice, & figs outside Theur temple. You can also visit Vrundavan, small Samadhi of Ramabai, wife of great Madhavrao Peshwa, its at walking distance. Madhavrao Peshwa died in this temple. Ganpati of theur is called Chintamani.

After visiting Theur, come back to Solapur highway & head towards Solapur once again to  reach village called Chaufula. From Chaufula take right turn. From here you have to travel to reach Morgaon. Visit Moregaon temple, enjoy dinner & Overnight stay  Many people in moregaon provide accommodation in their home itself. Its good idea to stay here.. Just enjoy maharashtrian food & end your day here. Morgaon ganpati is called Mayureshwar.


Day 2:

Enjoy breakfast of Kande Pohe at morgaon & start your travel. Travel ahead of morgaon to visit Jejuri. Jejuri is famous for Khadndoba temple. The temple is on small fort called Malhargad. But you have to climb 250 steps to visit this temple & the temple is usually crowded. Avoid white clothes, as they will surely become yellow due to turmeric people use there.

After visiting Jejuri, come back till Chaufula for heading to the next temple Siddhatek. Keep moving towards Solapur. Reach Patas, from here take left for Daund. Cross the town of Daund & you have to travel to reach Siddhatek. Few years back there was no bridge over the river at siddhatek, so tourists had to take ferry, but now bridge is operational & your vehicle will go right in front of entrance of the temple. Visit the temple & have delicious zunaka bhakar after the darshan. Zunaka bhakar of siddhatek is very famous. You can take a dip in the river near the temple & then enjoy the meal, the river is safe for swimming, of course if you know swimming.. The ganpati we visited is called Siddheshwar.

After visiting Siddhatek, come back till daund & instead of going back to Patas take road for Kashti & belwandi. From belwandi drivefor Shirur. This is straight road till ShirurFrom Shirur, take left for reaching our next temple Ranjangaon. Ranjangaon temple is on this highway itself & you can see the huge hoarding of Mahaganpati. You can visit vadhu budruk, here is the Samadhi of Chhatrapati Sambhaji maharaj. Now you have three options, either stay in lodge at Shikrapur or travel to chakan or travel to Pune. If you are not comfortable with small lodges / economy accommodations, we would suggest, stay at Pune. If you are fine with small accommodations you can stay at Shikrapur or Chakan . You will reach chakan in an hour from Shikrapur. Now at end the end of day 2 you have visited 6 temples & two more are remaining.


Day 3:

Start early & head to Narayangaon via Chakan. From narayangaon take left after crossing Narayangaon & on crossing few Kms, you will reach Ozar. Visit Ozar temple & don't forget to buy kandi pedha from here. After Ozar, travel to last temple Lenyadri which is just 9 kms from Ozar. At Lenyadri Temple You need to climb 200 steps to visit the temple, but these days Palkhi service is available. Before leaving don't forget to Buy fresh grapes from farms on the way to Lenyadri.

Here, your ashtavinayak darshan is complete.

Visit the presiding deity of Shinganapur, Sri Shaneshwara or Shanidev- the personification of the planet Saturn is worshipped with utmost reverence and devotion by multitudes of people from all over the world. The spectacle of the deity in black stone is overwhelming. A unique aspect of this place is that no temple structure houses the Shanidev. Day 06: Shirdi – Nasik (95 Kms - 2 hours) –Trimbakeshwar (35 kms -1hrs.)- Nasik

Early morning take adarshan for KAKAD AARATI 0400 HRS. "The Temple of Sai Baba of Shirdi". Spend your morning at the sacred atmosphere of Temple the spiritual atmosphere.0900 hrs.drive to Nasik. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Then visit to Ramkund - This holy tank is 27 m by 12 m and was built in 1696 by Chitrarao Khatarkar. It is believed that Rama and Sita used to bathe in this tank during their exile. And Muktidham Temple - This famous temple is located near Nashik station, just 7 kms from the city. The Muktidham Temple is pure white, the colour signifying holiness and peace. White Makrana marble was used to build this temple, which has very unusual architecture. Unique to this temple are the 18 chapters of the Gita written on the walls. A visit to this temple by Hindus is considered as a visit to the 4 dhams or holy centers. . After Lunch drive to Trimbakeshwar. Visit famous Trimbakeshwar Temple and as the source of the Godavari River. Day 2 : Matheran

After breakfast visit to various points .Alexander Point is one of the great scenic locations in Matheran and is located on the side of Madhavji road. On the backdrop of jungle greeneries, the point offers grandeur picturesque views of Palasdari Lake, Rambaug Point, Garbut Point, Chowk point and downhill village of Borgaon.The beautiful view of the towers of Bhivpuri Power house is amazing from this cliff. The view of the deep valley down from this point offers a breathtaking experience for any tourist. Soft cool breeze and serene environment add charm of this place. Echo Point as the name suggests well-known for allowing you to enjoy your echoes is Echo point. This has made the place very popular amongst locals as well as tourists. This is a central point that offers a panoramic view of the whole place. Pisharnath temple is located on the left side of the serene Charlott Lake and is surrounded by lush greeneries. Day 3 : Matheran

Early morning at 4 am visit the famous Panorama Point (Sunrise Point ) which  is the most popular location in Matheran which offers majestic view of sunrise. The location is the longest spacious place on the mount peak.. The nature loving tourist can see beautiful views of Prabal fort in the backdrop of lush green forests and also the breathtaking cliffs of Hart point, Porcupine point and Monkey point. A magnificent scenic view of Louisa point is admirable form here. One can hear the echo of your voices from here. The cool and calm ambience make this place a most visited location in Matheran.Later  afternoon visit the Charlotte Lake, also known as Sharlott Lake is a serene scenic spot in Matheran and is the prime source of drinking water in the Matheran region. An ancient temple Pisarnath temple is located at the right of the lake and two beautiful picnic spots Louisa point and Echo point are placed at the left of the lake. The lake location is rich in panoramic sceneries and lusting greeneries.This lake 50 feet deep was built in 1956. Water from this lake gets filtered and is supplied to the entire town of Matheran. This popular tourist destination is splendid during Monsoon and mostly get dried up in summer. One can watch some domestic bird fauna flying over the lake adding the picturesque beauty of the lake.Overnight at Matheran .

Day 02 : Nashik-Shirdi

After Breakfast  Check out and transfer to Shirdi .Every activity at Shirdi revolves around the vast temple complex dedicated to Sai Baba. Devotees start queuing up in the early hours of dawn to catch a glimpse and seek the blessings of the life-size statue of Sai Baba. Thursday is marked by special pujas and darshan of the Sai Baba statue. There are other places of interest that devotees can visit as well including Dwarkamani Mosque where the Baba meditated and slept on alternate nights.Vist the famous & most repuited Temple of Sai baba & absorb its mystical surroundings. Near the mosque, in a corridor is the dhuni or eternal flame that burns day and night. Other places of importance are the Gurusthan, the Kandoba Temple, Shani Mandir, Narsimha Mandir, Changdev Maharaj Samadhi and the Sakori Ashram.. Overnight at Shirdi

Day 03 : Shirdi – Shani Singnapur – Mumbai

After breakfast check out from the hotel & Visit the famous Shani ShignapurTemple   The presiding deity of Shinganapur, Sri Shaneshwara or Lord Shanidev- the personification of the planet Saturn is worshipped with utmost reverence and devotion by multitudes of people from all over the world. The spectacle of the deity in black stone is overwhelming. A unique aspect of this place is, that no temple structure houses the Shanidev. There is only a simple platform on which stands the swayambhu idol, in black stone . After Darshan and religious activities drive back to home destination .
