Day 01: Goa

Arrive to Madgaon Station Or Dabolim Airport ( Goa ) and transfer to hotel, Variously known as "Pearl of the Orient" and a "Tourist Paradise", this smallest state of India is located on the western coast of India in the coastal belt known as Konkan.The magnificent scenic beauty and the architectural splendours of its temples, churches and old houses have made Goa a firm favourite with travellers around the world.But then, Goa is much more than just beaches and sea. It has a soul which goes deep into unique history, rich culture and some of the prettiest natural scenery that India has to offer.Much of the real Goa is in its interiors, both inside its buildings and in the hinterland away from the coastal area

Later proceed to visit the famous beaches of  NORTH Goa .105 kms of Konkan coast stretches across the state of Goa providing a wide range of choice in beaches to suit everybody's needs. There are unspoilt pristine streches of sand for the solitude seeker and there are those ones jammed with people in every square feet of sand..

This stretch begins from the headland of Fort Aguada just outside Panaji city and moves up north towards the border to Maharashtra. Right from the Fort Aguada Beach Resort, an interrupted stretch of sand lies awaiting tourists, sunbathers and party animals.Sinquerim, Candolim, Calangute, Baga, Anjuna, Vagator, Morjim and Arambol are the beaches that can be covered in the North Goa Circuit.. Night can be enjoyed at PUB or even CASINO .Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 02: Goa

After breakfast proceed to visit The beaches of South Goa. Major base to begin the beach conquest is from Margao, Beginning from Majorda beach, a 20 kms long silvery white sand stretches across till the headland of Cabo de Rama.Velsao, Majorda, Betalbatim, Colva, Benaulim, Varca, Cavelossim, Mobor and Betul beaches are all interconnected..Later also visit the famous St Francis Church – An UNESCO world heritage site . The church holds the Mortal remains of St Francis Xavier & its considered to be one of the best example of Baroque Architecture in India .Later Visit Mangeshi Temple- a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is considered to be the most important temple in Goa, it belongs to the typical Goan Hindu temple style of architecture. It is very distinctive with its white towers, welcoming at the entrance even though it is small and exquisite. It is located on a Hillock at Proil surrounded with lush greenery which creates a separate place in the hearts of the onlookers. It is one of the largest, wealthiest and most frequently visited temples in Goa. Return back to the hotel. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 03: Goa- Bhatkal

After breakfast proceeds to Bhatkal (210 kms / 4 hrs) arrive and transfer to hotel. Bhatkal is one of the most beautiful beach destination, located near the famous Murudeshwar temple in the Uttara Kannada region. As there are many historic and important temples near the Bhatkal beach, it attracts tourists from across the country, and they mainly come to visit the beach and its nearby temples on pilgrimage. The famous Jog falls is also close by, attracting visitors in droves. Evening free for Beach activities . Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 04: Bhatkal - Udupi

After breakfast proceeds to Udupi, (90 kms / 2 hrs ) famous for the Krishna temple & beaches  It also lends its name to the Udupi cuisine which is famous across the world. Temples of Udupi are popular for the temple festivals and rituals. Udupi is a famous pilgrimage, particularly for Asta Math, i.e. eight Matts and Sri Krishna Temple Arrive and transfer to hotel. Later visit to Malpe Beach, an ideal picnic place with its virtuous beach . It is the long & golden sandy Coastline with clean blue sky with the ripple of the sea where one can stroll around in peace. Overnight stay at Udupi

Day 05: Udupi-Coorg

After breakfast proceeds to Coorg, (5 hrs) arrive and transfer to hotel. Coorg is a destination which nobody can express about its beauty in words . It is a paradise of sublime waterfalls , ecological parks , water drafting and more . The largest and serene river Kauvery originates on the eastern side of the western ghats . A mojor part of Coorg is watered by the tributaries of the river and & many streams originate in or around Coorg . This beautiful place is also known as the “ Scotland of the East “. Early evening visit Talakauveri in the brahmagiri hills which is considered as the place from where the sacred Kauvery river originates A Tank or Kundike erected on the hillside near a temple is visible and a holy bath can be taken in the waters . One can even enjoy fishing / Boating etc here. Overnight stay at Coorg

Day 06: Coorg

After breakfast Visit Famous Dubare Elephant Camp . It is an natural island with an exquisite atmosphere . this beautiful place offers a wonderful experience of boating & fishing . Dubare is situated on the banks of Kauvery river 18 kms from Coorg .The main attraction of this place is the Elephant camp and covers a land area of 11 acres.Dubare has more than 150 elephants in the camp . Alongwith the camp  Harangi Dam , Nisargadhama- A beautiful biological park . It is one of the finest and most beautiful holiday destination . The kauvery river splits here forming an island of thick bamboo groves , sandal tress & teak trees . There is a hanging bride of rope that connects main land with beautiful island . One can enjoy boating & fishing here .you can also watch peacock , rabbits & deer & also have a ride on the Elephants back . Return back to coorg and overnight at Hotel .

Day 07:  Coorg - Bangalore 

After breakfast check out from the hotel & depart to Bangalore ( 265 kmns / 05 hrs ) . Bangalore, recently renamed as Bengaluru, is the state capital of Karnataka and one of the most attractive modern cities in India. The city is famous for its beautiful parks, avenues, impressive buildings, heritage centers and excellent shopping. These qualities make it a magnificent place to visit, a delightful destination in its own right as well as the gateway to Southern India.The city has forts and palaces from the 16th century that will give you a clear idea of efficient town planning and splendid architecture observed at the time of some of the earliest dynasties in India. This is demonstrated in the ornately carved Islamic style arches on the gate walls, in the  luxurious palace of Tipu Sultan, Lal Baug with its sprawling greenery and Bungle Rock which stood as a watch tower for the city. Transfer to the hotel. Later Proceed for a city tour, visit Tipu’s Palace, Bull Temple, Allah, Ulsoor Lake, Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha, Venkatappa Art Gallery, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Vishweshwaraiah Museum, Utility Building, etc. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08: Bangalore

This morning after breakfast proceed to see Vidhana Soudha – Parliament house from outside  Venkatappa Art Gallery, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Vishweshwaraiah Museum, Utility Building, & Botanical garden. Evening free at leisure or Shopping at MG Road .Overnight at the hotel In Bangalore .

Day 09: Bangalore Departure

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Airport / railway station to Board Flight / train back to Mumbai .

Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary

Located in the Uttar Kannada district in the State of Karnataka, 125 kms from Panjim (Goa) Dandeli abounds in a richness of flora and fauna. Day 01: Goa –Belgaum( 125 kms / 3 hrs )

Arrive to Madgoan station/ Goa Dabolim Airport and proceed to Belgaum ( also known as bamboo valley ) is one of the oldest , strong and well cultured historical place nesting high in the western ghats . The old town area with cotton and silk Weavers stands gloriously besides the modern , bustling tree lined British cantonment . Day 02:  Belgaum – Aihole ( 180 kms / 04 hrs)

After breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to Aihole- Situated on the banks of the MalaPrabha river in the bagalkot district of Karnataka . It is situated at any height of 600 metres  Aihole has some of the most beautiful examples of Hindu temple architecture. It is also significant for historians, because an inscription that was discovered here helped them in piecing together the history of this period. During the Chalukyan period, it was the experimental ground for different styles of temple construction.

Day 03:   Aihole

After breakfast Visit to Kontigudi group & the Galaganatha group of Temple, Huchimalligudi Temple, and Suryanarayan Temple & Aihole Museum. In Aihole, the artists seem to have experimented with different styles of temple building.  There are more than a hundred temples scattered about the town, representing various styles and different eras. The earliest works were rock cut shrines. The artisans slowly evolved a Chalukyan style, blending ideas from all the neighboring regions.

The 2 main groups of temples here belong to the Kontigudi group and the Galaganatha group .The Konthiguidi group is set of three temples . Evening return back to the hotel and overnight stay at Aihole

Day 04: Aihole-Pattadakal( 15 kms / 30 min )

This morning after breakfast Proceed to Pattadakal (15 kms /30 min ) This tiny village is situated on the banks of the Malaprabha river. Pattadakal was later known variously as Raktapura (Red Town) & Pattadakal Kisuvolal . This place reached its pinnacle of glory under the Chalukyas from the seventh to the ninth centuries functioning as a royal commemorative site. The group of about ten temples, surrounded by numerous minor shrines & plinths, represents the climax of early Western Chalukyan Architecture. King Vikramaditya II (734 - 745 AD) and his art loving queens Lokmahadevi & Trailkyamahadevi, brought sculptors from Kanchipuram to create fantasies in stone in Pattadakal .Arrive & check in at Hotel .

Later visit to The Jambulinga Temple - Another small temple with a fine figure of the Dancing Shiva with Nandi & Parvathi by his side. Built with a northern style tower, there is a horse-shoe arched projection on its facade. The Virupaksha Temple – Originally known as Lokeshwara. The temple is rich in sculpture like those of Lingodbhaya , Nataraja , Ravanugraha & Ugranarasimha . Built in the southern Dravida Style it is the largest temple in the enclosure .Return back to the hotel . Overnight stay at Pattadakal

 Day 05: Pattadakal – Badami ( 20 kms / 45 min )

After breakfast Proceed to Badami (20 kms/ 45 min )  Badami cave temples are a complex of temples located at Badami, a town in the Bagalkot District in the north part of Karnataka, They are considered an example of Indian rock-cut architecture, especially Badami Chalukya Architecture.Badami previously known as Vapati Badami, is suitated on the west bank of artificial lake filed with greenish water, dammed by an earthen wall faced with stone steps. Badami is surrounded in the north and south by forts built in later times, from the ramparts that crown their summits. Arrive & check in at Hotel . Later visit the Cave Temples 1 km, this group of 4 cave temples have been carved out of the hill opposite Badami fort. Of the four, three are Brahmanical, while the fourth is Jain. Nearly 2000 steps have to be climbed to reach the cave.

Later visit Badami Fort  Strategically situated on top of the hill, the fort encloses large granaries, a treasury impressive temples on top of the northern end of the hill. Malegitti Shivalaya, perhaps the oldest temple of the lot, is dedicated to the benign aspect of Shiva as the garland maker. Placed on the summit of a rocky hill, the temple is built of stone, finely joined without mortar, & with Dravidian tower. The lower Shivalaya has a Dravidian tower of which only the sanctum remains now.. Return back to the hotel & overnight stay at Badami

Day 06: Badami – Hubli ( 100 kms / 02 hrs)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Hubli which has been emerged as a prominent tourist attraction in recent years . the most famous attractions in Hubli are the Bhavanishankar Temple , Asar , Siddharoodha Math , Unkul lake & glass house .Hubli also offers trips to its twin city Dharwad , Sogolla , Mathoda Falls , ISCKON temple , Sky point and Ulavia to its visitors . arrive and check in at the hotel  . Day 07: Hubli –Hospet ( 150 kms / 03 hrs)

Day 08: Hospet –Hassan ( 315 kms / 06 hrs)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Saranavbelgola , Located at an Altitude of about 3350 feet above sea level Shravanabelagola is wedged between two rocky hills - the Vindyagiri and the Chandragiri. The colossal rock cut statue of  saint Gommata at Shravanabelagola is the most magnificent among all Jaina works of art.  It was built in circa 982 AD and is described as one of the mightiest achievements of ancient Karnataka in the realm of sculptural art. Also referred to as Lord Bahubali, the image is nude an stands upright in the posture of meditation known as kayotsarga, reaching a height of 17.38 meter (58 ft) atop the Vindyagiri of Doddabetta hills accessible through a flight of 500 steps.

 Later Drive to Hassan located in the south-western part of Karnataka The district has had an eventful and rich history. In the past, it reached the height of its glory during the rule of the Hoysalas who had their capital at Dwarasamudra, the modern Halebeed in Belur Taluk. The district, is noted for its enchanting natural scenic beauty is also a veritable treasure-house of Hoysala architecture and sculpture, the best specimens of which are at Belur and Halebeed. Belur located on the banks of river Yagachi. Belur is known as Dakshina Varanasi or South Banaras for its temples. Though Belur and Halebidu and just 16 kms away, they are always referred to as Belur and Halebidu as if they are one. But indeed they are one in their grandeur of erstwhile era.
The temples of Belur and Halebid are best known for their south Indian architecture. The temples at both these places are built by renowned architect Jakkanna Acharya (Amarashilpi Jakanaacharya). The temples are carved with scripts of Hindu mythology. The 12th century temple at Belur has many figures known as Madanikas or dancers. It has many pillars of different designs. Evening visit the famous Vrindavan Gardens  a celebrated beauty spot in this part of India is world famous for its symmetric design. It is one of the most beautifully laid out terrace gardens in the world. The Brindavan Gardens, primarily a terrace garden is laid out immediately behind the Krishnaraja Sagar dam site.. Today, the garden extends over an area of 60 acres and it is laid out in the three terraces, which ends in a horseshoe shape. The slopes are planted with colourful Bougain villeas and ornamental plants. This garden is a public park and it is one of the important tourist spots of India.  The Musical and dancing fountain, is the main attraction of the visitors.
