ITINERARY

Day 1 : Arrive Delhi / Dehradun – Transfer to ANANDA

Arrive at Delhi Airport / Railway Station  ( 07 hrs - 250 kms ) Or Dehradun Airport ( 1 hour ) & transfer to Ananda . Arrive at the Resort & check in . Day free at lesisure/ relaxation or to explore this beautiful destination Resort Or enjoy the activities on sight Or even have a rejunuvating SPA therapy . Overnight stay at the Resort set amounst Natural Beauty .

Day 2 :  Rishikesh / Haridwar Excursion

After breakfast Depart for excursion to Haridwar & Rishikesh .Arrive Rishikesh & Visit the famous ram Jhula / Laxman Jhula & other famous temples at Rishikesh .Later proceed to Haridwar & Visit the famous CHANDI DEVI - The Chandi Devi Temple, situated atop the Neel Parvat, gives a spellbounding view of the entire Haridwar town. MANSA DEVI - Mansa Devi Templesituated on the southernmost hill of the Shivalik ranges is the Durga temple called Mansa Devi. One can reach this temple either on foot or by a cable car. Perched on Bilwa Parvat, the temple provides a panoramic view of the Haridwar city with the Ganges flowing in its middle Haridwar is also famous for its local bazaars or markets. The main Haridwar bazaar is a long, winding street, probably the oldest part of the town, free of all vehicular traffic.One can enjoy shopping of various Religious Items. In the evening Attend the Sandhya Aarti which takes place at Hari Ki Pauri, in the reflection of golden hues of the floral Diyas in the River Ganges is the most enchanting sight in the twilight during the Ganga Aarati ceremony. This is the most important Ghat on the River Ganges where a holy dip is must for every devotee.Return back to the hotel & overnight stay at Haridwar .

Day 3 :  Ananda

After Breakfast full day free to explore the activities at this famous Destination . Day - 02 (Gangtok Local Sightseeing)

After breakfast visit Hanuman Tok, a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, is situated at an altitude of 7200 feet at a distance of about nine kilometres uphill from Gangtok on a blissfully calm and quiet hilltop. The location is completely free from the pollution of city life. Namgyal Research Institute of Tibetology  A most prestigious research institute of its kind in the world, NIT is a treasure of vast collection of rare Lepcha, Tibetan and Sanskrit manuscripts, statues and rare Thankas (colourful tapestries used in Buddhist liturgy Tashi View Point to experience some of the most breath taking and awe inspiring views of the Himalayas . Saramsa Garden  which serves the purpose of the gangtok tourism department to promote floriculture. It is a great picnic and recreation spot and can be enjoyed with family and friends. It is situated 14 kilometers from gangtok on the Pakyong Road., Hanuman Tok Located on the upper reaches of Gangtok, is a temple complex dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the mighty Monkey god. Day – 03 : Gangtok to Lachung

After breakfast pickup from your hotel at Gangtok and Transfer to Lachung (117Kms/6Hrs), The picturesque mountain village of Lachung, at a height of 8610 ft, embraced by snow capped mountain peaks, breathtaking waterfalls, sparkling streams and apple orchards is the perfect holiday destination. Day – 04 :  Lachung To Yumthang valley excursion

Early Morning drive to Yumthang-valley (24 KM. & 11,800 FT) (known as Valley of Flowers), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the Yaks & winter playgrounds of Yetis. On the way back visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties Yumthang Valley: is also known by the name of “Valley of Flowers”. This bottomless vale has remarkable variety of flowers to boast of. Once again to its credit, Yumthang also embraces the world renowned Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary in its region. A tributary of the Teesta flows through the valley and making it all the more mesmerizing in its appearance. To visit this vale, spring season is the perfect time when flowers blossoms at their best. During summers, this valley acts as a pasture land for the yaks.

Besides its astonishing flora, Yumthang also offers an eye-catching vista of peaks along with Pauhunri and Shundu Tsenpa. Yumthang is also famous for Hot Springs, but actually these springs fall in Yumesamdong region.. During winters, the whole valley gets enveloped in a thick layer of snow. Day - 06 (Gangtok to Darjeeling) 

Morning after breakfast transfer to Darjeeling (120kms/4hrs). Darjeeling , the queen of all hill stations and also the 'Dream-land of the East', famous for its natural beauty, clean fresh air, year round pleasent weather and above all, tea estates and the famous Darjeeling Tea...Darjeeling gets its name from Dorje (Thunderbolt) and Ling (Place). One of the most popular hillstations of India, The hill station was popularised from the times of British rule. Every year at the start of summer, the Viceroys of India would move to Darjeeling.

Covering an area of 1,200 sq. miles and surrounded by the Himalayan peaks, its a fascinating place rich in natural beauty. Some of the most beautiful tea estates are here. The Kanchenjunga peak can be seen from the town.Arrive and check in at Hotel . Evening free at leisure Overnight at Hotel.

Day - 07 (Darjeeling Best points Sightseeing) 

Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak), Later visit the Natural History Museum which contains  a comprehensive collection of the fauna of the region. The specimens of all birds' species, reptiles and animals found here are displayed. The butterfly and beetle section merits a special mention.Himalayan Mountaineering Institute  which is one of the most visited places in Darjeeling. It commands a magnificent view of Kanchenjunga.The Lebong Race Track which is situated  8 Km from Darjeeling, this race course is the highest and smallest track in the world. Tiger Hill  situated 11 km from the Darjeeling and at an elevation of 2,590 meters, lies the famous Tiger Hill. The view of sunrise from the top of hill is an unforgottable scene. It also provides a fine view of the mighty Everest and Kanchenjunga peaks.

Gymkhana Club which offers  house offers various game facilities such as tennis, table tennis, billiards, squash and badminton.Tibetan Refuge Centre  the place where a large number of Tibetan migrated here in the year 1959 due to the annexation of Tibet by China. Its craft workshops produce pure Ladakhi wool items, carpets and interesting woodcarving products & Zoological Park ,More correctly known as Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park. It was established with an aim to conserve and preserve the varied Himalayan fauna. Day 01: Cochin - Munnar ( 135 kms / 4.5 hrs)

Arrive at Cochin &  proceed to Munnar (5 hrs. journey), Munnar - breathtakingly beautiful - a haven of peace and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country.Set at an altitude of 6000 ft in Idukki district, Munnar was the favored summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days. After breakfast visit Rajamalai view point the highest point of Kerala. Rajamala, part of Eravikulam national park, is located at about 15 kms from Munnar.  This region is the natural habitat of the Nilgiri Tahr (Hemitragas hylocres). It was converted to a national park to provide a safe sanctuary  for the already endangered species of Nilgiri Tahr. After lunch the day is free to explore the natural beauty of Munnar. Day 4: Munnar – Kodai Kanal ( 175 kms / 04 hrs)

After breakfast drive from Munnar to Kodaikanal (4 hrs) Kodaikanal is one of the very popular and most sought after Honeymoon and holiday destination hill resorts in South India. This hill station stands 7200 feet above sea level and situated in upper palani hills of the westernghats near Madurai in Tamil Nadu. They are situated along the banks of Rimbi River.   These waterfalls lead into the Rimbi River,   famous for activities like fishing. Sacred Kechodpalri Lake located in the north-west direction of Pelling town. This lake is known by many names like the Wishing Lake, Kha-Chot-Palri and Sho Dzo Sho, which means Oh Lady, Sit Here. DAY 4 :THEKKADY

After breakfast Today Half day Jeep Safari can be done & then visit to Periyaar wild life sanctuary – The Periyar Tiger Reserve at Thekkady is one of the best tiger reserves in India. The place offers a wide array of avenues to quench your thirst for adventure and for enjoying safaris, tiger trails, plantation tours & Spice Garden. Kalaripayattu – Martial Art Show – can be enjoyed in evening.

 

DAY 5 : THEKKADY – KODAIKANAL ( 6 HRS DRIVE)

After breakfast Check out from the Hotel & proceed to Kodaikanal.Tamil Nadu is the land of the Tamils It is a land where traditions and culture blend and continue to live in harmony..Kodaikanal : Its is a unique place. Rows and rows of silky pine trees sloping down to clear, cold streams, spectacular views which suddenly disappear in foamy mist, people bundled up in sweaters and overcoats. We seek peace quiet in a hill station, not the noise and fume of factories. Arrival & check in Hotel. Remaining day to relax.

 

DAY 6  :KODAIKANAL SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast proceed to cover the local sightseeing which includes some attractive points like Coaker’s Walk – A kilometre’s walk from the lake. It derives the name Lt. Coaker, who prepared the map of Kodai. Coaker’s Walk runs along a steep, emerald green wooded slope. Tiger Leap, Bryant’s Park – This park is situated on the eastern side of the lake. It is noted for flowers, hybrids and grafts, Cut flowers are exported from here, Green Valley View – It is about 5.5 Kms from the lake and located very close to Golf club, it commands a beautiful view of entire vaigai dam, As the valley is very deep, dense and dangerous, recommended to see with precautionary measures., Pillar Rocks – It is about 7.4 Kms from the lake. Three boulders stand shoulder to shoulder vertically measuring of about 122 meters providing a beautiful view. It has a mini garden, Bear Shola Falls – An ideal picnic spot 1.6-km from bus stand and within 2 Kms of the lake, where once bears came to drink water.& Lake – A magnificent star-shaped lake glitters like a jewel amidst the emerald green wooded slopes. This 24 hectare lake is skirted by 5 Kms long, black tapped road is focal point of Kodai, Golf links etc.

 

DAY 7 : KODAIKANAL – OOTY ( 7 HRS DRIVE)

After breakfast Check out from the hotel & proceed to Ooty – Ootacamund or Ooty is situated in Nilgiri Mountains near Tri Junction of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. Ooty is the only hill station in india which attracts visitors during all seasons.Arrival & check in. Cover the sightseeing of Ooty including visit to Dodabetta Peak – Doddabetta Peak is the highest vantage point in Ooty, located at around 2,623 m. This peak is regarded as one of the highest peaks in South India, which lies at the junction of the Eastern and Western Ghats, Botanical Gardens – A wide variety of exotic and ornamental plants adorn this garden. There is also a beautiful Italian floral garden and for those who simply want to relax, there’s always the green carpet of the well-maintained lawns. etc. Boating can be enjoyed on the placid Ooty Lake – Ooty Lake is an artificial lake, formed by John Sullivan, the founder of Ooty, in 1824. The artificial lake was formed by the mountain streams flowing down Ooty valley. The entire lake is surrounded by eucalyptus trees that add to its beauty.

 

DAY 8 : COONOOR SIGHTSEEING

Cover the sightseeing of Coonoor – Coonoor lies in the Nilgiri district and is located at an altitude of 1800 metres above sea level. This second largest hill station in the Nilgiri, after Ooty, is perfect base for trekking expeditions. The city of Coonoor also has the regimental headquarters of the Madras Regiment of the Indian Army. including visit to the Tea Gardens & Estates – There are multiple tea plantations in the hill station that produce fresh green tea leaves., Sim’s Park – Sim’s Park is the main tourist attraction in the town, which is basically a botanical garden with different varieties of plants. Moreover, this park hosts a Fruit Show during the summer months. etc.

 

DAY 9 : OOTY – COIMBATORE (3 HRS DRIVE )
